One of my oldest friends

is happy, in love, and engaged. When Scott called me to tell me his news, I was surprised at my reaction. Yes, I knew I'd be happy for him when such news came my way, but what I wasn't ready for was the overwhelming emotions that flooded through me: I wept because I am so happy for Scott and Michael. We had such a good time making our way around downtown Tulsa on a late afternoon in Spring. The day started out rather warm, but the temps broke nicely and made for a beautiful day.

So yet again I got to photograph two incredible young people. The thing that i enjoy most is these two kiddos are also students of mine. Both Veronica and Chris are really good people. They were so much fun to photograph!

So a couple weekends ago I had the pleasure of photographing another great Senior. Riley is smart and an incredibly gifted singer, but more impressive than that is the way he chooses to conduct his life: anyone who knows him knows he is a follower of Christ. This fall, he will leave for college to pursue a degree in music ministry. If you ever get a chance to hear him sing, you will not be disappointed!
